ABOUT US
Our journey started as a holiday and turned out into our mission.
Balicious was founded by Pascal Teipel and Alexander Wenglorz. Long-time friends from Germany. Inspired by the "Island of Gods - Bali", the encounters with the locals and the places we have seen, we set out a mission:
'We want to spread the word about Bali's incredible craftsmanship & artists around the world.'
It has never been so important to support this kind of art with acknowledgment which can be given in form of orders. We - the Team from 'Balicious' - want to support this traditional craftsmanship. We strive to support the work the locals do, by finding new wholesalers and retailers every day.
Every customer we have can make a real difference with little effort. We inspire them with those beautiful products. They place the order. And together as a team we can make this world a little bit better day by day.
We love beautiful things. And we love the Locals.
All our products we offer tell a story of life! They are created by hand with passion & dedication. Often this ancient art is learnt with the experienced master artisans that pass their precious knowledge to the younger generations.
As the importance of manual work has drastically declined, we’ve seen an erosion of an entire culture of skills, that once brought creativity, meaning, and a visceral sense of satisfaction to the everyday lives of thousands of Balinese folks. It is our highest wish to improve this situation together with you.
Craftsmanship can not just provide the Balinese Locals with sustainable jobs. Their work is crucial for them. It also means a lot to them emotionally.

Alex is the 'Creative Brain' behind the scenes. Studied Sports management in Munich and worked in the sports-industry before he began to work in Australia as a travel agent.
Pascal Teipel
Pascal is the Absolute Genius
with financials & distributions.
He swapped his Tie & Suit with Flip-Flops
after working for several investment banks and
consulting firms.
